ALMAS TOWER won a good race in his last start over 1900m on this course. He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. Luyolo Mxothwa retains the ride and he can follow up.

DIVINE ODYSSEY ran a cracker when finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Summer Cup at Turffontein last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won twice from three starts on this course. Chase Maujean retains the ride and if all went well with his travels, he should be too good for this field.

PERFECTION followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this C&D last time. The son of Ideal World is having his first run in Handicap Company and he has plenty of scope. From pole position, he should be the horse to beat.
