Race 1

Seven of the thirteen runners in this contest are unraced and the betting market will be the best guide with regards to their chances. THREE COINS is a daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Justin Snaith stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. She is related to three-time winner Ciao Bella. If not too green, she should start her career on a positive note.

PINEAPPLEMINTGREEN hails from the Eric Sands stable and she is a daughter of Gimmethegreenlight. She is related to multiple winners including Valbonne and Juxtapose. Keagan de Melo does duty and if not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself.

TRIPTOTHEWOODS may be the first raced runner past the post. Her last three starts on this course have been fair. Grant van Niekerk takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

Race 2

UNCONQUERABLE LADY is better than her last start in the Listed Perfect Promise Sprint. She won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville in her penultimate run. The daughter of Danon Platina would have come on from her last outing and will strip much fitter. If jumping on terms, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure

BELOW DECK got up where it matters most to win her maiden at the second time of asking over 1400m. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight drops back to 1200m and if the distance is not on the sharp side, she should be one of the leading contenders.

SUN SPECTACULAR produced a decent debut effort over this C&D. She was slow into stride, but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression.

Race 3

SPRING PALACE finished 0.75 lengths behind MY GOLLY MOLLY last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Potala Palace should have no issues with the drop to 1200m and he should be the one to beat.

MY GOLLY MOLLY has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He raced from a handy position over 1400m last time and found extra where it matters most to keep all challengers at bay. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

HLUHLUWE finished 2.95 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line.

Race 4

GREEN KNIGHT is an unraced son of Gimmethegreenlight from the Justin Snaith stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. He is related to multiple winners including Thumbs Up and At My Command. If not too green, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

CABARET is a daughter of Oratorio from the Glen Kotzen stable with Keagan de Melo in the irons. She is related to three-time winner Miss Frankel. If not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself.

MEU CAPITANO hails from the Piet Steyn stable and Grant van Niekerk is booked to ride. The son of Captain Of All is related to multiple winners including Flower Blue and Captain Morisco. If not too green, he can earn a cheque in this line-up.

Race 5

OLIVER has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He challenged strongly in his last start over this C&D, but was touched off by Contiguous. The son of Twice Over returns from an 11-week break and if not in need of the run, he can go one better.

SNOW PILOT is lightly raced with decent form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he had to be switched for running room at the 400m mark. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

LADY MAJORCA has produced two decent efforts to date. It must be noted that Flying V has come out and won again since. The daughter of William Longsword should have no issues with the rise to 1400m and she can earn a cheque.

Race 6

ANALYTIC has shown good improvement in each of her outings to date. She rallied late over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Green Valkyrie. The daughter of Gold Standard is a progressive type and she will love the rise to the mile. From pole position, she should be the one to beat.

WOMAN‘S WORLD finished 0.65 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them in the run down to the line.

SUNSHINE DAY finished 1.65 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, she should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 7

GEM KING finished 1.55 lengths behind KING REGENT last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won twice and finished third once from five starts over this C&D. If getting away to a clean start, he can notch up his seventh career victory.

KING REGENT stayed on when fourth in the Grade 3 WSB Legal Eagle Stakes last time. He is a horse that is loaded with ability and if putting his best foot forward, he should fight out the finish.

FIREALLEY set the pace over 1400m last time, but was caught late by Royal Aussie. He has won once and finished second four times from eight starts over this C&D. Aldo Domeyer steps back into the saddle and he should be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Race 8

ISLAND TREASURE finished 0.95 lengths behind PHILOSOPHISE last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Pomodoro has cracked a good draw of two and with a bit of luck in running, she can go close to winning.

PHILOSOPHISE ran on well when second in her last start over 1400m on this course. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

CLOUD CHASER finished 0.3 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around. She is lightly raced with plenty of scope.

Race 9

NIGHT RULER stayed on at the finish over 1800m last time, but found one too good in the form of Montien. The son of Kingsbarns drops in class and will love the rise to 1950m. He is the stable elect with Richard Fourie in the saddle and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

ROYAL WATCH finished 2 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line.

CORONATION TIME has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings, the latest of which was over this C&D. He carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and must be included in all bets
