He showed good pace over 1200m last time, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Port Louis who has come out and finished second since. The son of Royal Mo will be at home over 1400m. He does have a wide barrier position to overcome, but gets the services of Grant van Niekerk who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

TIPSY TARRAGON ran a decent race on debut over 1200m. She should have finished closer that day as she hung from the 600m mark. The daughter of Dynasty would have come on with the run and should enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

FUN ZONE has shown good improvement in each of her efforts to date. She was running on nicely when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Rafeef is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. If not too far out of her ground at the halfway mark, she should be hard to beat.
