The 19-week break would have done her the world of good. Joe Gwingwizha rides on her return and if not in need of the run, she can shed her maiden tag.

FLY ISABELLA FLY produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course. She was settled at the rear of the field and finished her race off strongly. The daughter of Alado drops to the 1000m and the blinkers should sharpen her up. She would have come on from the run and with the expected natural improvement, she may be the one to beat.

Jockey: S Mosia – Trainer: A Fortune
PRIME EXAMPLE is the best bet on the programme. He received a bump when leaving the start over 1800m, ran on but found one too good in the form of Otto Luyken. The son of Canford Cliffs should be at home over this distance. He is the best horse in the race and with Samuel Mosia in the saddle, he should take a power of beating.
Race 8: NYALI BEACH (13)
Jockey: A Feni – Trainer: M de Kock
NYALI BEACH has produced two decent efforts to date. She received a bump at the 300m mark last time, but how she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. She returns from an 18-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight has plenty of scope; if not in need of the run, she should be the one to beat in this field.

FUTURE PEARL ran a fair race in his comeback run over this C&D. He showed signs of needing the run as he tired in the latter stages. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Futura gets the blinkers fitted for the first time and he should strip much fitter. In this type of field, he is the horse to beat
