Richmond Tigers vs Gold Coast Suns

This match is played in Brisbane, the Tigers are from Melbourne.

Both teams play attacking football and they are ranked high on the ladder in scoring.

The Tigers are coming from a high scoring defeat to the top of the ladder Port Adelaide, while the Suns have drawn their last match, but lost the previous three. The Tigers are in the fight for the top 4 and they must win this to get up there, while the Suns must win this to stay in contention for a play-off spot (top 8).

Richmond are a much better team, but the Suns stayed close two weeks ago in their defeat to St Kilda (top 4 team) by 4 points, and drew a few days ago against a top 8 team.
If they play the same way like in the past couple of weeks, they can keep this close.

Bet 1: Total Points Over 130.5 @1.88
Bet 2: Richmond Team Total Over 76.5 points @1.87
Bet 3: Gold Coast Team Total Over 52.5 points @1.88
Bet 4: Gold Coast +27.5 @1.70

Cheap beer stakes, as there are too many bets.

Redlands vs Brisbane Olympic FC

Redlands are a lowly team, they hover above the bottom three in general.

Olympic are a top team in this league. They finished top four in the past two seasons, played the play-offs and went on to play the Final. They lost 1-2 both times, but the difference in class is obvious.

This new season and post-season and after season and resumption season, Olympic are still doing fine, they're equal 4th, while Redlands are 3rd from bottom.

These two are local teams, there is no big travel involved, just a 50 minutes drive or so.

Bet: Brisbane Olympic -1.75 @1.83

Western United vs Melbourne City

This match is played in Sydney, while both teams are from Melbourne. it is the last match of the regular season.
Melbourne City will finish second, regardless of the result of this match. Second place goes straight to the semifinals.

Western United can go up to the 3rd place with a win. They are already in the play-offs. They would have been in the play-offs even if they didn't beat Sydney FC a few days ago, but they pushed for the win, which they got in the 90th minute, 2-1.

This means that they mean business, they want to go into the play-offs with momentum.

Since the resumption, Melbourne City played two games. They beat Sydney FC (which we know that they were very poor after the resumption, with 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats), then they couldn't hold a 2-0 advantage against Adelaide, who didn't make it to the play-offs.
City are known for their failures at the last hurdle, as they missed out on two titles so far, when they were supposed to be favourites.

Western United are on fire these days. Since the resumption they've had 4 wins and one defeat, and are coming into this match on a 3-match winning run, with many goals scored. They have Diamanti, Burgess, Berisha, all in great form and creating big chances around the opposition goal. With a win here, they can get to 3rd on the ladder.
Western United are the form team right now and they can pose a serious challenge to win the title.

Bet: Western United +0.25 @1.99

After seeing the lineups, I've cashed out of this bet.

United starts with a second string lineup, Melbourne City only 3 changes to the first team.

Bet 1: Melbourne City -0.5 @1.75
Bet 2: Builder - Melbourne City win and over 1 goal for both teams combined @2.00

Gold Coast Suns vs Carlton Blues

This match is played in Darwin, while these two teams are from different states, so it's neutral ground.

The Suns have been trying to get a win for a few rounds now, and are struggling to get into the play-off zone. They are 6 points outside, and a win is 4 points.

These two teams met one month ago and Carlton won 99-75.
Carlton won 6 days ago in Perth (40-36 against Fremantle Dockers), a last second goal and are coming into this match with a good boost. They are only 4 points outside the play-off zone.

The Suns had a 4 day break, while the Blues played 6 days ago.
This game is demanding physically, normally it is played once a week, but due to Covid restrictions they crammed as many games as they could in a shorter period of time, so that they can end the season relatively on time.

Bet 1: Carlton winning margin 1-39 @1.87
Bet 2: Total points over 119.5 @1.91

Port Adelaide Power vs Hawthorn Hawks

The Hawks are sitting 3rd from bottom on a ladder consisting of 18 teams.
Port Adelaide are sitting at the top, 9 wins 3 losses. While their losses have been rare and far in between, they came to top teams, title contenders, like Brisbane Lions, St Kilda or Geelong.

The Hawks are riddled with injuries and on a normal day I'd take them to lose this anyway.

Bet 1: Port Adelaide -26.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Port Adelaide team total Over 72.5 @1.87
Bet 3: Hawthorn team total Under 44.5 @1.89

Wellington Phoenix vs Perth Glory

The match is played in Sydney, neutral venue.

Both teams finished the regular season in poor form, struggling to score, having won only once in their last five matches.

This is Elimination Final 1, it's a do or die match to get into the semifinals.
I don't expect a goal fest, but rather a slug fest, given their recent form and the importance of this match.

Bet 1: BTTS @1.67
Bet 2: Number of goals in match - 2 or 3 goals @2.00

Essendon vs Richmond

This match takes place in Darwin, while both teams are from Melbourne.

The conditions in Darwin are humid and slippery and Essendon players are struggling to score. Essendon is 14th out of 18 teams for total points scored.
They won only once in the last 6 matches, and that win came against Adelaide Crows, the rock bottom team who lost all their matches this season.

Richmond are the current champions, sitting at number 6 on the ladder and are aiming for a top 4 finish.

In another game played in Darwin last night, the score was also low.

Bet 1: Total points Under 113.5 points @1.88
Bet 2: Essendon Under 44.5 points @1.84
Bet 3: Richmond win and Under 113.5 points @2.30

Fremantle Dockers vs Sydney Swans

Both teams are in the bottom part of the table with the same line, 4 wins 7 losses. They both want to make it to the finals, but for that they need to win at least 5 of their last 6 remaining matches.

The Dockers have been in better form than the Swans recently, having beaten a couple of top teams in their last 7 matches, 4 of them wins.

The Swans have been on a poor run of form, with only 2 wins in their last 8. However, last week they beat their cross town rivals, Greater Western Sydney Giants in a dominant display.

The Dockers lost last week with a goal conceded after the siren, a painful defeat. They had one week to work on that shortcoming and rebuild their morale.

Bet 1: Dockers -9.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Total points Over 104.5 @1.88

Adelaide Crows vs Geelong Cats

The Crows are rooted to the bottom of the table, 12 losses in 12 matches.

The Cats are 4th on the ladder and with a win here they can go to 2nd. They are premiership contenders and they showed it in their last match too, in their demolition of the top of the ladder team, Port Adelaide, by 60 points, 91-31. They have the most offensive attack, most points scored in the league and with this might they go onto the Crows.

Bet 1: Geelong -38.5 @1.90
Bet 2: Geelong team totals Over 82.5 @1.86

West Coast Eagles vs Great Western Sydney Giants

The Eagles are premiership favourites and are on a 7-match winning streak. They are one of the best scoring teams and the best marking team.

The Giants are just outside the play-off zone, they played a horrible game last round against the lowly Sydney Swans and that caused changes being made to the team.

Bet 1: Eagles -15.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Eagles team total Over 66.5 @1.87

Brisbane Lions vs St Kilda

Big match between two top teams. The Lions are 2nd, St Kilda are 6th at only one win behind the Lions.
Both teams are very high scoring and in great form too.

This match is played at The Gabba, the Lions' fortress, where they beat every team this season, including West Coast Eagles (current premiership favourites) and Port Adelaide Power (current league leader) by healthy margins.

St Kilda however played 3 matches at this venue as part of their home games (they are from Melbourne actually, but the league created a hub outside Victoria due to Covid), and won two of them. So maybe they may have got used to the conditions there, but I'll still take the Lions to win. Spectators are allowed in limited numbers, so it will feel like a home game for the Lions.

Bet 1: Lions 1-39 @2.00
Bet 2: Total over 134.5 @1.91

Brisbane Roar vs Western United

The match is played in Sydney, neutral venue.
Western United is from Melbourne.

Western Utd are the in-form team at the moment. They won 6 of their last 8 matches and they lost the last one because they rested most of their first team players. They have a huge attacking talent in Burgess, Diamantini, Berisha, and they score plenty of goals.

Roar are in good form themselves, ending the season with one win and two draws, the last one against league leaders Sydney FC.
They have Scott McDonald in great form, who started at Western United, while United have Berisha, leading A-League all time goalscorer, former Roar star.

The odds are almost equal in all aspects, H2H, DNB, which suggest that the bookies expect a draw after 90 minutes.

Bet 1: To Qualify - Western Utd @1.90
Bet 2: BTTS Yes @1.70
Bet 3: BTTS and over 2.5 @2.20
