The Rugby World Cup is once again the focal point for Wednesday’s betting action and we take a look at some of the options available to punters in our Daily Diary.
RUGBY WORLD CUP
Fiji make their second start of the Tournament having given Australia a scare in their opener only to be quite well beaten in the end. They face Uruguay who make their Tournament debut and Fiji are very strong favourites here at a handicap of (-31.5) points.
The total points line is set at 54.5 and to date this has been a Tournament to go under the line when it comes to the total points markets. There are plenty of other markets on offer for the game including first try scorer, anytime try scorer and last try scorer and these markets are a great alternative for punters who don’t have a strong view on the game, but still want the entertainment of a bet.

The English Carabao Cup is also televised again this year and Wednesday night’s matches see Chelsea up against Grimsby Town and M K Dons up against EPL leaders Liverpool.
Naturally the Premier League sides are massive favourites but it is worth noting that the likes of Liverpool in particular have a very busy schedule and are likely to field weakened teams at this stage of the Carabao Cup.

CYCLING
The Cycling World Championships are under way and Wednesday afternoon sees the men’s individual time trial where Rohan Dennis is and 18/10 ahead of Remco Evenepoel 3/1, Primoz Roglic 33/10 and Victor Capenaerts is 9/2.
The young Evenepoel has been all the rage over the last few months and we think he could be the one in what looks a fairly open race which should the time trial specialists.
