BettingDiaryFriday has plenty of Sports Betting opportunities and we take a look at some of the highlights in our daily betting Diary.

RUGBY

Let’s start with Japan v the Springboks kicking off at 12h15 South African time on Friday. The current handicap is South Africa (-20.5) points and if anything will be leaning towards the home team at that handicap. If you are undecided on the match result or handicap there are plenty of other betting markets though including total points where the line is set at 60.5 9/10 the pair. We really like the look of this Bok pack and we think they may help the Springboks to get away to a quick start and fancy South Africa (-10.5) on the half-time handicap, meaning we need to lead by 11 or more points at the break.

There are two more International matches televised on Friday night with Scotland (-27.5) points at home to Georgia and England (-33.5) points at home to Italy. We haven't got any firm views on those games yet, but suggest you have a look at the markets yourselves.

Ardent Rugby fans should also note that there is a live Mitre10 Cup match on Friday morning with Hawkes Bay massive favourites against a woeful Southland who were beaten 18-0 by Canterbury last week. The current lines are Hawkes Bay (-27.5) and based on what we saw last week we could quite like Southland under 13.5 points at 9/10.

CRICKET

The 3rd day of the 4th Ashes Test continues on Friday and you can look out for in-running betting.

Lovers of the shortened version of the game will be relishing the 3rd T20 between Sri Lanka and New Zealand with New Zealand having won the first 2, both highly entertaining affairs with plenty of runs.

Also keep an eye on the betting on the Caribbean Premier League with the Guyana Warriors 6/10 against the St Lucia Zouks who are 13/10 and that match gets going round midnight South African time on Thursday night.

TENNIS

It is Men’s Semi-Final time at the US Open and Daniil Medvedev is the 11/20 favourite to beat Grigor Dimitrov. The other match which will probably go off in the early hours of Saturday morning is Matteo Berrettini against the hot pot favourite, Rafael Nadal who is currently 3/10 to win the title thanks to the exit of Federer and Djokovic.

Stage 13 of the Vuelta a Espana is an absolute brute and after a couple of days just following wheels the GC men will be right back into the thick of things. The final climb is an absolute brute and we will be very surprised if this doesn’t go to one of the top 4 in the General Classification. It should make entertaining viewing and you can click here for all our Vuelta a Espana betting including Outright Updates as well as Stage Win betting and Stage Match betting.
