This match takes place on Saturday and GladAfrica Championship side, Pretoria Callies will be looking to book their spot in the final.
It hasn’t been a great season for Callies and they currently sit 11th in the GladAfrica Championship, but their Cup run has been exceptional with some nail biting finishes to their games. They edged Cape Town All Stars on penalties in their quarter-final and also required penalties at home to JDR Stars in their last 16 game. They edged Royal AM 1-0 in the Round of 32 and the opening round also required penalties to beat Steenberg United at home.
Chippa United have also had to work hard for their semi-final spot and beat Richards Bay 2-1 at home in their quarter-final. Prior to that they had seen off fellow PSL side, Cape Town City, in extra time and required penalties to beat Free State Stars at home in their Round of 32 clash.
Chippa’s recent form hasn’t been good and they have lost their last 2 League games away at Maritzburg United by 5-1 and away to Mamelodi Sundowns when they went down 2-1.
