Race 4 Turbo Twenty at 10/1. Has a good record in the wet, drawn 1 and has won at the track before
Race 5 Down By The River at 9/2. Good effort returning from a break in a similar race last time out. Handles the conditions and proven over c & d
Race 6 Gorgeous Guy at 14/1. Down in class and MR has also been dropping. Late jockey change with 4kg claimer taking more weight off.
Race 7 Eric’s Legacy at 9/2. Although Fire Chief is weighted to turn form around with the selection Ericc’s Legacy was returning from a lengthy absence last time out and is taken to go in again.

Race 3 Fire In Her Soul at 3/1. Now 1 point lower than last winning mark
Race 7 Palace Attack at 9/4. 3 point rise for win at Turffontein 10 days ago seems fair and Lerena on bard again
Race 9 Me And You at 18/10. Looked useful as a juvenile and could prove to be a cut above this level.

Race 2 - Destiny's Dream (17/2 e/w) - Drops back to 1200m, form line of last run holding up well.
Race 8 - Titan Of The Turf (4/1) positive weight swing with Vibe SA and Antonio Gaudi. 4 points down in rating after a good 4th behind Charming Cheetah recently. Rated by the stable and racing fit.

Race 1 Eyecatcher at 7/1. Has been off 213 days but was backed on debut and wasn’t far off what has subsequently proved to be some above average horses. Beware some nicely bred newcomers and other with form but could be worth a small play.
Race 7 Captains Alliance at 28/10. 456 days since last win but super consistent and knocking hard.
Race 8 Fort Yukon at 4/1. C&D winner back up to the mile after going close from a wide draw over shorter last time. Draw could have been kinder but looks a player again

Race 3 Treasure Island at 11/2. Consistent sort, was just touched off in a similar race on penultimate run on this surface
Race 4 One Path at 33/10. Ticks a few boxes and looks a big runner even though the draw could have been kinder
Race 6 Littleblackgem at 5/1. Would have needed latest when reported coughing, mark has been sliding
Race 7 Seven No Trump at 7/2. Third run since relocating and has been taking on stronger

Race 2 - The Wolf (13/2) 1 win and 4 stake cheques over C&D. Gets the services of in-form apprentice Mosaheb. Swingers with Record High (12/1) who actually holds The Wolf on a run over C&D back in December. SW 7x10
Race 4 - Clouds Clearing (17/2 e/w) backed this one two weeks ago at Turffontein. Dropped another 3 points in rating after that run. Was pulled out of the race and subsequently disqualified in only run on this surface. He surely won't be making the trip down to the coast to see the beach! Jason Gates retaining the ride another big plus.
Race 5 - Open race, but Hammer Blow (28/10) brings strong Gauteng form behind the likes of Catfish and Trompe L'Oeil to the race. Only win was over this distance and earned a stake cheque in each other run over 1000m
Race 7 - Qhawekazi (3/1) - Enjoys the surface. Had excuses in last start when carried out. Might get better odds closer to the off.
Race 8 - Money for Golden Diogo (13/1 in to 17/2). First run as gelding, was heavily supported in 2nd start when still a colt. Royale Jacket (1/1) a big danger but having his 29th attempt to break his maiden. Narrowly beaten in only start on this surface. Form line of last run when second to Mirum held up well with Imyourhuckleberry beating 7l winner, One Eye On Dubai, subsequently and Mirum earning a stake cheque in both post-maiden runs. Also not here for a walk on the beach. SW/Box EX 5x8

Fairview (poly)
Race 1 Alesian Beau at 33/10. Was backed last time when return from a break, form of that race has been franked and Zackey takes the ride.
Race 2 Tipsy at 4/1. Hasn’t been too far off in most of her 7 races to date, usually from a wide draw, should be involved
Race 4 Saboteur at 2/1, Ran 2nd to a progressive sort last time, renews rivalry with Rock Me Mama who has a wide gate to contend with
Race 5 Blue Palace at 10/1. 450 days since last win but has hot the post a couple of times and could pop up from gate 1 after mark eased slightly
Race 6 Nelson Bay at 10/1 Hasn’t placed in 5 races since a good comeback run in April but is eased in grade now
Race 8 Kwagga Blitz at 5/2. Drops in class, excellent 2nd on local debut returning from a long break last time out. Has won on the poly in KZN

Race 2 Showgirl at 28/10. 3rd run back from a lengthy absence, should be 100% now, promising earlier in career, up in trio should not be an issue
Race 3 Jazz Café at 14/1. Has been running over much further in top company but is 2 from 4 over this c&d and tops the best weighted column.
Race 5 Red Dawn at 2/1. First race since relocating from WCP, mark has been dropping
Race 6 Miss Twinkle at 3/1. Might just have a slight fitness edge on a couple of market rivals and 3 from 3 this track and trip
Race 7 Song To The Moon at 4/1. Rating has been easing and holds a few of these on collateral form
Race 8 Star Of The Future at 25/2 (each way) . Was beaten less than a length on most recent turf run in a similar contest. Finished that race of well and an extra 200m to go here.

Race 1 Bullet Tooth Tony at 7/2. Two fair efforts so far, most recent at this track from gate 9. Jumps from 1 today and looks likely to be involved
Race 4 Absolutely Yes at 7/2. Yard has a strong hand in this race, slight preference for de Melo’s mount who has been running in slightly stronger races and generally goes well here, any rain would suit
Race 5 Miami Summer at 5/2. As with Race 4 yard has more than one big player. This one is impressing more with every run and goes up in trip again which could unlock further improvement
Race 8 Girl Like Us at 9/2. Has a 91 day absence to overcome but goes well here. In the money each of last 4 starts in similar contests
Race 9 Axis Power at 28/10. Ran a cracker on WCP debut here at the start of the month in the same grade. Can go one better off the same mark with de Melo up.

Race 1 The Bachelorette at even money. Ran a good debut here, before disappointing, more like it latest run when returning from a break
Race 4 Surprise Party at 3/1. Consistent sort, ran a good 2nd only start on inside track
Race 5 Nicci’s Law at 6/1. Easy win over track and trip to get out of maidens. Could go in again if jumping on terms though has a wide gate to contend with. Nibble in a competitive race
Race 6 Perfect Sky at 18/10. Excellent juvenile form and she carries just 54.5kg today

Race 1 - Sukhoi (36/10) attracted money when 4th on debut. Form line looks good with Big City Roller winning since, Ulez Camera tiring late for 2nd and Gimmethejackhammer also running a good second behind Time Of Our Lives on Wednesday.
Race 2 - Bart Nel (3/1) had to be steadied last time when pushed for room. Snaith stable has a line through Wreath Of Snow on the favorite, Legal Dancer (17/10). Watch the betting on Fallen Ash (9/1), half brother to Pacaya. October Rush (34/10) was a R4.25 million buy and should be a big runner if ready after a 90 day rest. SW/EX Box 6x9x13
Race 3 - Watch the betting on R3.25 million buy, Getorix Princess (28/10). First Bloom (7/10) fly jumped when 2nd to the highly rated, Sabre Wing, on debut. Senorita Lolita (20/1) a nice horse for swingers etc. Fast filly who should enjoy the 1400m. Finished just over a length behind Sabre Wing earlier. This could be a form line to follow in future. SW 2x8
Race 4 - With Chris on Absolutely Yes (15/4)
Race 5 - Soho Heartthrob (33/10) highly rated and perhaps looking for this trip. Placed behind Jan van Goyen as a juvenile. Swingers with Prairie Dawn (33/10) who shouldn't need the run according to trainer comments in the Computaform. Only run over this sort of trip was a very good 0.55 lengths 3rd to Future Free. SW/Box EX 4x5
Race 6 - Double Grand Slam the banker at 4/10. Keukenhof 15/20 for a top 3 place huge value.
Race 7 - Jet Force (17/20) another banker. 2/2 over C&D. La Pulga (17/1) should be better over further but looks quite versatile. Better off with Legal Council (9/2) on an earlier run over 1800m. Nice Top 3 place bet @ 23/10. Top 4 places @1/1 for the more conservative. SW 3x7
Race 8 - Sing Forevermore (5/1) very well in at the weights. Had excuses last time when 2nd in older company. Wide draw a concern but not the end.
Race 9 - Heritage Ridge (15/2 e/w). Ignore penultimate run when racing wide without cover. Better off at the weights with Peace Of Mind (16/10), who gets the services of Aldo Domeyer and fancied. Top 4 places on Heritage Ridge pays 8/10 currently.
Lets hope we can finally get a few swingers in. Enjoy the racing!

Also positive comments for Fallen Ash in the 2nd race. Not sure who to leave out for swingers mentioned in earlier post, but this must also go in. Might not be worth taking the 4 horses for boxed SW as they are the clear top 4 in the betting? Will just chance 6x11 SW and hope for a good payout.

I'm opposing Double Grand Slam for exotics and giving Viva Le Vida a decent ew chance
Race 7
Big money for Jet force , again trying to beat this one but only have a few runners in exotics , I like Legal Council
Race 8
Stable very flat but Girl like Us is my first choice.
Race 9
Williams Woman

Turffontein Sunday:
Race 1 - Elegant Edge (36/10) Tipped last time when a disappointing 5th behind Periodic Table. Shifted away from the crop that day. Jockey change with Muzi Yeni up today, well drawn. Form line of that last race also working out nicely. Small Top 3 place bet on Fascinator @ 13/2 who gets the blinkers fitted today and can show up in a field like this. Nice horse for those chancing something to make swingers/quartets etc pay.
Race 2 - Autograph (13/2 e/w) finding the places of late. Had to be steadied last time when finishing 1.4l behind Two Tigers (6/1). Stable also in good form. Tries the inside track for the first time. Watch the betting on Chestnut Verse (27/10)
Race 3 - Royal Rant (11/2) received betting support when finishing 2nd last time out after being bumped by two horses (including the winner) at the start. Drawn 6/6 shouldn't be a problem in a small field.
Race 4 - Frangipani (3/1) is 3/3 on the Inside Track and 2/2 over C&D. Tomyris (28/10) changed stable, most probably being aimed at something bigger over further.
Race 6 - Bright and Brazen all three wins have been over C&D. A touch down in class today. Not striding out last time and scalp wound when finishing 3rd in penultimate run. Top 4 place 12/10
Race 7 - Got The Look (backed from 10/1 to 6/1 ). First run on Highveld, did finish a close second to Reet Petite over 1250m about a year ago. Also received betting support before being scratched from a MR 72 race 10 days ago.
