HENRY CEJUDO vs SONG YADONG
Bantamweight Main Event:
Henry Cejudo is an American fighter who is known for his striking and stamina. He has fought in the UFC for over a decade and built up a total of 14 fights, winning 10 and losing 4.
Between the years 2018 and 2023 he went on a lengthy run of holding and defending the division title before he lost it in his 5th consecutive title fight against Aljamain Sterling in 2023 by decision.
Since then, he has only stepped in the octagon once, when he fought Merab Dvalishvili, the current division champ in February last year and lost by decision.
Yadong Song is a young Chinese fighter (27) who possesses great talent in the fields of striking and overall athletic ability. He entered the UFC just over 7 years ago and since then he has made a name for himself, winning 10 and losing 3 of his fights with the remaining bout ending in a draw.
He has been on decent form lately winning 3 of his last 5 fights, however he has battled in the bouts against the better fighters of the division losing to Cory Sanhagen in 2022 by doctors’ stoppage.
His most recent fight was against Petr Yan back in March where both fighters went the distance and Yan won by decision after 15 minutes in the octagon.

PREDICTION:
I believe that despite Cejudo being the underdog on this occasion, Song’s form against high level opposition has not been great and I think Cejudo takes this fight by decision.
BRENDAN ALLEN vs ANTHONY HERNANDEZ
Middleweight Co-Main Event:
Brendan Allen, fighting out of the USA is a dangerous opponent when on the canvas and he can deal a solid punch as well. He has been on a winning run over the last few years and holds a record of 13-3-0.
After winning against Sam Alvey in 2022, Allen went on a winning spree over his next 6 fights beating 4 of his opponents by submission and 2 via decision but unfortunately this run came to an end in September last year when he went up against Nassourdine Imavov and lost by decision.
Anthony Hernandez is an American fighter who classifies as a well-balanced fighter. He has fought 9 times since his debut back in 2019 and of these fights he has been victorious 7 times, with 2 losses.
He currently sits on a 6-fight winning streak, meaning he hasn’t lost since 2021 and he is on incredible form. His most recent encounter was with Michel Pereira a few months ago where Hernandez dropped Pereira in the 5th round to win by TKO.

ROB FONT vs JEAN MATSUMOTO
Catch Weight Fight
Rob Font is a Puerto Rican born mixed martial artist who has had an inconsistent career that dates back to 2014. He hasn’t been on great form lately, losing 4 of his last 6 bouts, admittedly facing some solid fighters. He recently stepped in the octagon against Kyler Phillips in October and won by decision.
Jean Matsumoto is a Brazilian fighter who has very little UFC experience behind him, with just 2 fights. It is important to note that he has won both of these with his debut fight ending by round 2 submission in the last second and his most recent meeting was with Brad Katona and it concluded in a decision triumph after 3 rounds.
