FRENCH DUCHESS showed good improvement in her first run for the Barend Botes stable. She lost a length leaving the start, but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. The daughter of Trippi will strip a much fitter horse today and she should love the extra distance on offer. In this field, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
HER ROYALTY’S last two starts have been fair. She should be ideally suited to this distance and back against her own sex, she is one of the leading contenders.
QONDANEKUKHANYENI has been in need of her first three career outings. The daughter of Global View should love the rise to 1400m and with her handy galloping mass of 52kgs, she should have improvement to come.
Race 3
MC DAZZLER cost himself winning last time as he shifted away from the crop in the closing stages. He has been gelded since that outing which may have done the trick. The son of Rafeef meets the right field this afternoon and can go one better.
MOVE TO PROVE showed good improvement in his last start over 1000m on this course. He stayed on at the finish and will enjoy the rise to 1400m. The son of One World carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
KOMANDANTE ran a fair race over 1000m on the turf last time. The son of Captain Of All will love the rise to 1400m. He is a progressive type and with 54kgs on his back, he can improve to finish in the placings.

TURN AROUND produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. He jumped inwards leaving the start, but showed pace and stayed on to finish second. The son of Red Ray would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.
SALT ‘N PEPPA showed good improvement in his last start over this C&D. He finished 3.3 lengths behind the top choice that day. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.
RECORD HIGH ran a fair race on debut over 1000m on this course. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and should love the extra furlong on offer. He should have improvement to come.

PANTEA’S last three starts have been good. She stayed on when third over 1000m on this course last time. The daughter of Rafeef has dropped to a competitive rating and she can return to winning ways.
PERFECT TRUST finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.
VISION OF WILL’S last two starts have been fair. It must be noted that Hereinafter has come out and won again since. She takes a slight drop in class and on best form shown, she should be involved at the finish.

THE REAL PRINCE was super-impressive when winning on debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He returns from a 30-week break, during which time he was gelded. The well-related son of Gimmethegreenlight could be special and if not in need of this outing, he should remain unbeaten.
DONQUERARI was running on when second over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts on this course. Apprentice Brevan Plaatjies retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
EXCEPT TEMPTATION’S last three starts have been good. He won his only attempt over this C&D, three runs ago. The son of Fire Away will be mowing down the frontrunners.
