BettingDiarySouth Africa and Pakistan meet in the 4th and final T20 at Centurion on Friday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.

The 4 match series currently sits at Pakistan 2, South Africa 1 and the Proteas will have to win this one if they are going to force a draw.

They will certainly be pleased with their effort in batting 1st at Centurion on Wednesday, reaching 203 for 5 in their 20 overs. There were contributions from most of the top order with 55 from Malan and a brilliant 63 off 31 balls from Markram amongst the betting innings.

Pakistan bowlers were flayed to all corners of the ground and Nawaz recorded the best figures of 2 for 38 in his 4 overs.

What looked a more than competitive total ended up being well short of what was required as Pakistan chased the runs with 9 wickets and 2 overs to spare. Rizwan was not out on 73, but the key to victory was skipper, Babar Azam with a brilliant 122 off 59 balls.

If you followed our bets in the 3rd T20 you would have been delighted as we had Babar Azam for the Man of the Match at 7/1 and in fact we got a full house with Pakistan winning at 7/10, Markram getting over the 2.5 fours at 11/10 and despite defeat the South Africans still managed to get the most sixes at 21/20.

4th T20 Match Betting

South Africa 13/10

Pakistan 13/20

Suggested Bet: Total Match 4’s, Markram over 2.5 at 17/20

Markram has looked in superb form in this series and I am expecting him to carry on in similar style and with the field up this bet could be resulted nice and quickly.

Suggested Bet: Most Match 6’s, South Africa at 1/1

South Africa have dominated this market in the T20’s and I am surprised we are still getting even money even though it must be pointed out the tie is a runner at 7/1. Even when Pakistan won convincingly, like they did in the 3rd T20, South Africa still cleared the rope more times.

Suggested Bet: Man of the Match, Aiden Markram at 10/1[D1]

I have this feeling that Markram is either going to go out relatively cheaply or he is going to go absolutely mad and potentially get a ton, if so he has every chance of getting the Man of the Match award and I just have the feeling that he is going to come right in a big way in the final match.
